Add transportation information to a lifecycle inventory to calculate carbon emissions from the transportation process.
For purchased inventory items such as raw materials, consumables, and packaging materials, you must account for transportation-related carbon emissions. After you configure the basic inventory information, click Transportation Info. and select Transportation Needed.

Configure the following transportation parameters: Actual transportation weight, Departure Location, Destination, Distance, and Transportation Mode. Then select an emission impact factor for the transportation process. The system generates a default Segment Name, which you can modify.

To add more road sections, click Add Road Section.
