Subscription quota

You can receive a partial refund for a subscription quota. The refund is calculated as: Refund amount = Paid amount - Fees for consumed resources.

Resource plan

You can request a full refund for a resource plan if it is unused within five days of purchase. In this case, Refund amount = Paid amount. The paid amount is the cash payment for the order, excluding discounts from vouchers or coupons.

Subscription quota

1. Go to the EMR Serverless Spark workspace page.

   1. Log on to the E-MapReduce console.

   2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose EMR Serverless > Spark.

2. On the Spark page, find the target workspace and click Delete in the Actions column.

3. On the Unsubscribe page, under Unsubscribe Resource > Regular Cloud Resource, click Unsubscribe Resource in the Actions column for the product that you want to unsubscribe.

   Alternatively, select EMR Serverless Spark Reserved Resources for Commodity Name and click Search.

4. Review and confirm the unsubscription details, then click Unsubscribe .

   Unsubscribing from the subscription quota deletes the workspace.

   Important

   After deletion, all resources including job definitions are released and cannot be recovered. Back up your job scripts before deleting.

Resource plan

1. On the Unsubscribe page, under the Unsubscribe Resource > Resource Plans menu, click Unsubscribe Resource in the Actions column of the product that you want to unsubscribe from.

   Alternatively, select Spark Computing Resource Plan for Commodity Name and click Search.

2. Review and confirm the unsubscription details, then click Unsubscribe .

   The workspace remains available after you unsubscribe from the resource plan.

Refund rules

• If your subscription instance's specification exceeds your business needs, you can downgrade it in real time, provided your account has the required privilege.

• A downgrade cancels the original order and generates a new one (a downgrade order). For any future refunds or downgrades, the used duration and fees for consumed resources are calculated based on this new order.

• If you used a voucher or promotional discount for your purchase, a downgrade may result in a refund of 0. Confirm the potential refund amount before you proceed. No refund is issued if the downgrade refund amount ≤ 0 or if the price difference ratio between the old and new configurations ≤ 0.

Refund amount calculation

Downgrade refund amount = (Online refund amount × Price difference ratio between the old and new configurations). The amount is calculated for each order separately and then summed. For details, see Explanation of downgrade refund rules.
