Waiting room analytics provides insights into your waiting room traffic, such as user queue time and peak traffic in your waiting room or on your origin server. You can then fine-tune the waiting room settings based on these insights.

Data analysis suggestion
Maximum Active Users
The maximum number of active users per minute that accessed your origin server through the waiting room over the last 24 hours.
Adjust your server resources based on the Maximum Active Users value. If this value is low, you have a surplus of server resources and can scale them down as needed. If this value is high, click View More to analyze detailed data and adjust your resources.
Maximum Queued Users
The maximum number of users queued in the waiting room per minute over the last 24 hours.
If the value of Maximum Queued Users is significantly higher than the number of active users on your origin server, this indicates a high volume of user requests. Perform the following operations as needed:
Optimize and expand your server resources to accommodate more users.
Prioritize user requests. For VIP users, you can configure a waiting room bypass rule to allow them to bypass the queue.
Optimize the waiting page settings to inform users of the estimated wait time and their position in the queue. This improves the user experience and encourages them to wait.
Typical Time in Queue
This metric represents the range between the 50th and 75th percentile of user queue times over the last 24 hours. The queue time is the duration from when a user enters the waiting room until they access the origin server.
If the Typical Time in Queue is too long, it can cause a poor user experience and lead to customer loss. You can:
Within the capacity of the origin server, increase the Waiting Room Creation and Waiting Room Creation of the Waiting Room to serve more users simultaneously.
By creating a waiting room, offload user traffic to reduce pressure on the origin server.
Enable Disable Session Renewal to limit the time a user can request services from your server.
Click View More to the right of Traffic Overview. Select a time range to view detailed data about the waiting room, such as Time in Queue, Time on Origin, Active Users, and New Users per Minute.

Description
Time in Queue
Typical Time In Queue
The time that most users wait in the queue, in seconds. Specifically, within the time range you set, the system calculates the time each user spends from entering the waiting room to accessing the origin. The durations are sorted in ascending order, and the range between the 50th and 75th percentile of user queuing times is displayed. For example, if the queuing times sorted from low to high are integers from 1 to 100 seconds, the typical queuing time is displayed as 50–75 seconds.
95th Percentile Time In Queue
The waiting time in the queue for 95% of queued users. Specifically, user queuing times in the waiting room are sorted in ascending order, and the time of the user at the 95th percentile is displayed. For example, if the queuing times sorted from low to high are 1 to 100 seconds, the 95th percentile queuing time is displayed as 95 seconds. This means 95% of queued users wait for less than 95 seconds.
NoteThe 95th percentile helps you measure the experience of most users.
Time on Origin
Typical Time On Origin
The time that most users spend on your origin server, in seconds. Specifically, within the time range you set, the system calculates the time each user spends from entering to leaving the origin (the interval between the first and last request to the origin). The durations are sorted in ascending order, and the range between the 50th and 75th percentile of user access times is displayed. For example, if the access durations sorted from low to high are integers from 1 to 100 seconds, the typical time on origin is displayed as 50–75 seconds.
95th Percentile Time On Origin
The time that most users spend on your origin server, in seconds. Specifically, within the time range you set, the system calculates the time each user spends from entering to leaving the origin (the interval between the first and last request to the origin). The durations are sorted in ascending order, and the access time of the user at the 95th percentile is displayed. For example, if the access times sorted from low to high are integers from 1 to 100, the 95th percentile time on origin is displayed as 95 seconds.

The maximum number of users queued in the waiting room at a specific time.
Maximum Active Users
The maximum number of users who access the origin at a specific time.
Configured Active User Threshold
The maximum active user threshold configured for the waiting room at a specific time.
New Users per Minute
Actual User Count
The number of new users who access the origin at the same time per minute.
Configured User Count
The number of users configured to access the origin per minute.
