When your domain name's contact information changes, you must update it promptly to ensure its accuracy. This topic describes how to modify a domain name's non-registrant information.

What is non-registrant information modification?
Non-registrant contact modification involves updating the information for a domain name's administrator, buyer, or technical contact.
Prerequisites
The domain name is listed on the Domain Names page in the Alibaba Cloud Domain Names console.
The domain name is within its validity period and is not in the renewal grace period.
The update lock for the domain name is disabled.
How to modify registrant information
To change the registrant or their information, see Modify registrant information.
The Transfer Policy from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) subjects a domain name to a 60-day transfer lock after its registrant information is modified. If you plan to transfer the domain name from Alibaba Cloud, select Disable "Domain names cannot be transferred out of Alibaba Cloud within 60 days of successful modification" during the modification process.
Procedure
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud Domain Names console.
On the Domain Names page, find the domain name to modify and click Manage in the Actions column.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Domain Name Information Change.
Click the Admin Contact Modification, Billing Contact Modification, or Tech Contact Modification tab.
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the required information, and then click Save.
