Notes

• If you have enabled the multi-account management feature and your Alibaba Cloud account is a management account, the overview page displays data only for the assets that are assigned public IP addresses and belong to the management account. The page does not include data for assets that belong to member accounts. For more information about multi-account management, see Multi-account management.

• This page displays assets that are assigned public IP addresses. These assets include products such as ECS, SLB, EIP (including EIPs attached to NAT Gateway), IPv6 gateway, simple application servers, WAF, GA, and Anycast EIP.

View DDoS mitigation data

1. Go to the Overview page of the Traffic Security console.

2. View details about DDoS attack mitigation for your Alibaba Cloud assets.

   DDoS attack mitigation details	Description
   DDoS-related Security Posture of Alibaba Cloud	Displays the number of DDoS attacks against all assets on Alibaba Cloud in the last year and the peak attack throughput in bit/s. You can view the data by month.
   DDoS-related Security Posture Within Current Account	Displays the number of assets under the current Alibaba Cloud account that are in blackhole filtering status or traffic scrubbing status. It also shows the number of assets that were attacked in the last three months. For assets in blackhole filtering or traffic scrubbing status, click Handle Now to deploy an Anti-DDoS solution. Scenario 1: You have purchased an Anti-DDoS product Select a purchased Anti-DDoS Origin instance. In the Actions column, click Add for Protection to add your asset to the protected objects. For more information, see Protected objects. Scenario 2: You have not purchased an Anti-DDoS product Select a suitable Anti-D DDoS solution based on your requirements. For more information, see How to select an Anti-DDoS product.
   Protection Status	Displays the security protection status of your assets. You can configure Anti-DDoS settings to address weaknesses and improve security. IP Address Protection Status Displays the number of protected assets, the total number of assets, and the protection coverage. If you have unprotected assets that are assigned public IP addresses, click Enable Protection Now to configure protection. For more information, see Mitigation Settings. Traffic Protection Status Displays the peak throughput of DDoS attacks on your Anti-DDoS Origin instance. If the peak attack throughput exceeds the mitigation capabilities of your Anti-DDoS Origin instance, you must upgrade the instance type. For more information, see Upgrade an instance.
   Anti-DDoS Services and Solutions	Lists the Anti-DDoS solutions that Alibaba Cloud provides. For more information, see How to select an Anti-DDoS product.
   Historical Attack Analysis for Current Account	Displays an analysis of the overall trend of network attacks on your assets in the last year. This helps you evaluate business threats and security requirements. Attack Trend: Basic information about flood attacks, including Traffic Scrubbing Sessions, Blackhole Event, IP Addresses Under Traffic Scrubbing, and IP Address Under Blackhole Filtering. Hotspot Assets: Ranks your assets that are assigned public IP addresses by the number of DDoS attacks in the last year. This helps you detect key assets. Deploy a complete security hardening solution for the most frequently attacked assets. For more information, see Best practices for mitigating DDoS attacks. Peak Attack Throughput: Displays the trend of peak attack throughput for flood attacks against your assets. Attacked Duration: Displays the trend of attack duration for flood attacks against your assets.
