Anti-DDoS:View the Overview page in the Traffic Security console

Procedure

1. Log on to the Traffic Security console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Overview.

3. On the Overview page, view the information.

   Note

   If your Alibaba Cloud account has the multi-account management feature enabled and is a management account, the Overview page displays only the information about the assets that belong to the management account. The Overview page does not display the information about the assets that belong to members.

   • Asset Security Status

     This section displays the overall situation of the attacks on your assets. The following table describes the details.

     Parameter	Description
     Attacked Assets (Real-time)	The number of assets that are under DDoS attacks. The value of this parameter is calculated based on the following formula: Value of the Attacked Assets (Real-time) parameter = Value of the Assets in Blackhole Filtering (Real-time) parameter + Value of the Assets in Scrubbing (Real-time) parameter.
     Assets in Blackhole Filtering (Real-time)	The number of assets on which blackhole filtering is triggered.
     Assets in Scrubbing (Real-time)	The number of assets on which traffic scrubbing is triggered.
     Attack Trend Within 30 Days	The DDoS attack trends of your assets within the last 30 days.
     Attacked Assets Within 30 Days	The number of DDoS attacks received by your assets within the last 30 days.
     Total Blackhole Filtering Duration Within 30 Days	The duration within which blackhole filtering is triggered for your assets within the last 30 days.
     Proportion of Blackhole Filtering Duration Within 30 Days	The value of this parameter is calculated based on the following formula: Value of the Proportion of Blackhole Filtering Duration Within 30 Days parameter = Value of the Total Blackhole Filtering Duration Within 30 Days parameter/30.

     If blackhole filtering is triggered for your assets or your service is severely affected due to the duration within which blackhole filtering is triggered within the last 30 days, you can click Handle Now to deploy Anti-DDoS services.

     • Scenario 1: An Anti-DDoS Origin instance is purchased.

       Select the Anti-DDoS Origin instance that you purchased and click Add Protection in the Actions column. For more information, see Add an object for protection.

     • Scenario 2: An Anti-DDoS instance is not purchased.

       Select a type of Anti-DDoS instance based on your business requirements and click Determine. For more information, see Scenario-specific anti-DDoS solutions.

   • Quick Add

     If you purchased an Anti-DDoS Origin instance of a paid edition, you can click Add for Protection in the Actions column to add your public IP address to the instance.

   • Protected Assets

     This section provides insight into the protection status of your assets and helps you configure Anti-DDoS services to improve protection capabilities for your assets.

     • IP Address Protection Status

       This section displays the number of protected assets, the number of your assets, and the protection coverage in percentage. If some of your assets are not protected, you can click Enable Protection Now to configure protection capabilities for the assets. For more information, see Use the mitigation settings feature (public preview).

     • Traffic Protection Status

       This section displays the peak protection bandwidths of your Anti-DDoS instances and the peak bandwidths of DDoS attacks received by the instances. If the peak bandwidth of DDoS attacks exceeds the peak protection bandwidth, you must upgrade your instance. For more information, see Upgrade an instance.

   • Attack Analysis

     This section displays the trend of attacks on your assets over the last year. This helps you evaluate potential risks to your service and what is required to protect your service.

     • Attack Trend (IP Address): the basic information about the attacks on your assets. The information includes Mitigation, Blackhole Filtering Event, IP Address Under Mitigation, and IP Address Under Blackhole Filtering.

     • Peak Attack Throughput (IP Address): the trend of peak attack bandwidth based on your assets.

     • Attacked Duration (IP Address): the trend of the duration of attacks based on your assets.

   • Hotspot Assets

     This section ranks the most attacked assets over the last year. This helps you identify core assets.

     We recommend that you deploy a comprehensive security hardening solution for the most attacked assets. For more information, see Best practices for mitigating DDoS attacks.

   • Industry Risk Insight

     This section displays the trend in the quantity of attacks in the industry of your service over the last six months. This helps you understand the industry-specific security posture.

     • All Industries: You can select an industry in which you are interested from the Industry drop-down list. Then, you can query the quantity of attacks in the industry over the last six months. For example, you can select Research Institutes, Automotive Manufacturing, or Gaming.

     • Current Industry: You can specify the industry of your service and query the quantity of traffic attacks in the industry over the last six months.

   • Traffic Security Documentation

     This section provides links to the latest updates in the field of traffic security. This helps you obtain background and up-to-date information in this field.
