Data Management:Download and manage backup sets

Last Updated:Jun 08, 2026

Data Disaster Recovery lets you download cloud backup sets to a local device, manually or through the backup gateway. Use downloaded sets for local database restoration, Excel analysis and auditing, or local backup storage.

How it works

Data Disaster Recovery packages, compresses, and converts backup files into downloadable CSV files in about 15 minutes. Download manually or use the Data Disaster Recovery backup gateway for automatic downloads. For more information, see Manually download a backup set and Configure automatic download of backup sets.

  • Check the backup set validity period before downloading.

  • If a backup set is about to expire, extend its retention period before downloading to prevent automatic deletion.
