DataWorks:Monitors

On the Quality inspection task page, you can find all monitors you have subscribed to and manage your alert settings — including the notification channel and recipients.

Find your subscribed monitors

  1. Log on to the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select the region. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Governance > Data Quality. Select the workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to Data Quality.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Quality O&M > Monitor.

  3. On the Quality inspection task page, locate your subscribed monitors using one of the following methods:

Manage monitors

From the monitor list, use the Actions column to do the following:

Action How
View details or edit Click the monitor name in the Monitor ID/name/description column to view quality monitoring details. Click Edit at the bottom of the details page to modify the configuration. For more information, see Configure a monitoring rule for a single table.
View run history Click Latest Running Record to go to the Quality inspection task running details page. For more information, see View the details of a monitor.
Update alert settings Click Alert Subscription to modify the notification channel and recipients.
Delete a subscription Click Delete to remove the subscription.

Configure alert notifications

Click Alert Subscription in the Actions column. The following notification channels are supported:

Email, Email and SMS, DingTalk Chatbot, DingTalk Chatbot @ALL, Lark Group Chatbot, Enterprise WeChat Chatbot, Custom Webhook, Telephone

Note

Custom Webhook is only available in DataWorks Enterprise Edition. For the message format, see Appendix: Message format of alert notifications sent by using a custom webhook URL.

Set up chatbot notifications

For DingTalk Chatbot, Lark Group Chatbot, or Enterprise WeChat Chatbot: get the webhook URL from the chatbot configuration and paste it into the Alert Subscription section.

Choose alert recipients

For Email, Email and SMS, and Telephone, select one of the following recipient types:

Recipient type Who receives the alert
Data Quality Monitoring Owner The person configured as the Quality Monitoring Owner in Basic Configurations
Shift Schedule The on-duty engineer scheduled for that day, when a quality rule check is triggered by an associated node
Scheduling Task Owner The owner of the scheduling node associated with the quality monitoring rule
