Real-time categories act as classifications for events, streamlining event management. This topic provides guidance on creating event categories.
Limits
A maximum of 5 levels of categories can be created.
Create categories
Select Tag > Event Center from the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Event Center > Category Management.
On the Category Management page, click Add Category.
In the Create Category dialog box, enter the following parameters:
Category Name: Input the desired category name. Acceptable characters include Chinese, English, numbers, and underscores (_), up to 64 characters.
Select Category: Select the parent category, if applicable. If there is no parent, choose Event Category Management.
Click OK to finalize the creation of the event category.
Manage categories
The Category Management page shows the hierarchy of each category along with their total event count.
(Optional) Search for a category by entering keywords.
The following operations can be performed in the operation column of the category list:
