Dataphin:Project management

A project is the basic organizational unit in Dataphin, used for multi-user isolation and access control.

Overview of features

Dataphin supports two project types: general projects and tag projects.

  • General Projects: Used for data integration and development tasks. Create general projects to organize and collaborate within specific business domains.

  • Tag Projects: Used for data tagging tasks. Create tag projects to organize business domains for tag development.

Project management entry

  1. Navigate to the Dataphin home page and click Planning in the top menu bar.

  2. In the data warehouse plan page, select Project Management from the left-side navigation pane to access the project management page.

Introduction to the project management page

The project management page consists of a filter area, a project card list, and a batch operation area. You can create projects or manage existing ones.

Filter Area

  • Filter: Filter projects by selecting 'joined' or 'all', or by entering keywords. Click image.png to filter by data section and project type.

  • Sort: Sort projects by addition date, name, or English name. Click image.png.

  • Create a new project: Click + Create a new project to add a project. The process differs by project type. For details, see:

Project Card List

Each project card shows key information and supports management actions such as attaching data sections, configuring computing resources, updating project details, and managing members. To enter the Developer workspace for a project, click Enter Workspace.

Batch Operation

Delete multiple projects at a time.

Note

You cannot delete projects that contain objects or are linked to other projects.
