This topic explains how to add members to a Dataphin project.
Procedure
For more information, see the referenced document to navigate to the Project Management page.
On the Project Management page, single click Member Management for the project you wish to modify.
In the Member Management dialog box, single click Add Member.
In the Add Member dialog box, select Member Name and Dimension Role.
Different project member roles have varying permission scopes. Below is an overview of the supported project member roles and their corresponding permissions:

Project visitor
Has view permissions for project files and nodes, but requires separate data permissions requests. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Data visitor (former visitor)
Has view permissions for project files and nodes, and query permissions for all physical tables within the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Analyst
Has view and edit permissions for project files, including ad hoc query files, and node view permissions. Also has query and table creation permissions for physical tables within the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Operations and maintenance
Has permissions to publish project files from Dev to Prod and operate project nodes. Also has development permissions for all physical tables within the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Developer
Has full permissions for project files, including the ability to submit, publish, and monitor updates, as well as operate project nodes. Also has development permissions for all physical tables within the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Project administrator
Has comprehensive management permissions for project members, files, and nodes. Also has development permissions for all physical tables within the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
Project business user
Has permissions for developing offline real-time tags and audience group selection and analysis within the project. Cannot define views and behavior relationships. Roles can be changed or removed.
You can also add members as regular visitors to either the Prod or Dev environments, assigning them the default role. Existing members will retain their original roles without being overwritten. The table below shows the role correspondence for adding members:

The system allows for the modification and removal of project administrators, developers, operations and maintenance staff, analysts, and visitors within the project.
ImportantThe system does not permit role changes for super administrators, nor the removal of members with the super administrator role from the project space.
Single click OK.
Manage project member roles
On the Member Management list page, you can delete, modify, batch remove, and replace roles.
Operation | Description |
Modify member role | In the Member Management dialog box, in the Dimension Role column, single click the drop-down list to select the member role you wish to modify. |
Remove members from the project | In the Member Management dialog box, in the Actions column, single click the Alternatively, select multiple members and single click Batch Remove at the bottom of the Member Management dialog box. Note Removed members will no longer have any operation permissions in the current project space. |
Batch replace roles | Select multiple members and single click Replace Roles at the bottom of the Member Management dialog box. Note Only roles that are enabled in the current environment are available for selection. |
