Dataphin:Add project members

Add Dataphin members to a project and assign them roles with specific permissions.

Procedure

1. For more information, see the referenced document to navigate to the Project Management page.

2. On the Project Management page, single click Member Management for the project you wish to modify.

3. In the Member Management dialog box, single click Add Member.

4. In the Add Member dialog box, select Member Name and Dimension Role.

   Each role grants a different permission scope. The following table describes the supported roles and their permissions:

   Role	Permission scope overview
   Project visitor	Can view project files and nodes but must request data permissions separately. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Data visitor (former visitor)	Can view project files and nodes, and query all physical tables in the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Analyst	Can view and edit project files, including ad hoc query files, and view nodes. Can also query and create physical tables in the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Operations and maintenance	Can publish project files from Dev to Prod and operate project nodes. Can also develop all physical tables in the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Developer	Has full permissions for project files, including submitting, publishing, and monitoring updates, and can operate project nodes. Can also develop all physical tables in the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Project administrator	Has full management permissions for project members, files, and nodes. Can also develop all physical tables in the project. Cross-project permissions are governed by tenant security policies. Roles can be changed or removed.
   Project business user	Can develop offline real-time tags and perform audience group selection and analysis in the project. Cannot define views or behavior relationships. Roles can be changed or removed.

   You can also add members as regular visitors to the Prod or Dev environment with the default role. Existing members retain their original roles. The following table shows the role mapping:

   Dev project role	Corresponding Prod project role
   Project administrator	Project administrator
   Developer	Operations and maintenance
   Analyst	Data visitor
   Regular visitor	Regular visitor

   You can modify or remove project administrators, developers, operations and maintenance staff, analysts, and visitors in the project.

   Important

   You cannot change the role of a super administrator or remove a super administrator from the project space.

5. Single click OK.

Manage project member roles

On the Member Management page, you can modify roles, remove members, batch remove members, and batch replace roles.
