Dataphin:Management Center Overview

Last Updated:Jan 21, 2025

As the super administrator, to begin using Dataphin, you must first add members to Dataphin and associate a compute engine within the Management Center module. The Management Center enables you to create rules for computing and storage resources, optimize logical table tasks and SQL query tasks, and configure the intelligent data engine for ad hoc query tasks, streamlining data development.

Limits

Management of members, configuration of computing engines for Dataphin instances, and the intelligent data engine settings on the Administration page are exclusive privileges of the super administrator.

Feature introduction

The table below outlines the features available in the Management Center.

Details

Description

Account Management

Add, configure, and manage Dataphin members

  • View Dataphin member information.

  • Add a RAM user as a Dataphin member.

  • Configure contact information for Dataphin members.

  • Remove a member from Dataphin.

  • Update the Dataphin member list through Account System Sync when RAM user account information changes.

System Settings

Set the compute engine for Dataphin instances to MaxComputeSet the compute engine to Hadoop or Transwarp TDH

Configure computing engines for Dataphin instances by setting the cluster endpoint. These engines facilitate metadata collection, connection, and management during data development.

Cross-Tenant Publishing Settings

Manage user authorization, retention period, and credentials for cross-tenant publishing.

Migration

Cross-tenant publishing

Utilize cross-tenant publishing to migrate data across tenants, enabling diverse data usage scenarios and maximizing data value for enterprises.

Intelligent Engine

Configure custom task parameters

Create rules for computing and storage resources, optimize logical table tasks and SQL query tasks, and configure the intelligent data engine for efficient ad hoc query task development.

Change Control

Change Policy

Define the scope and control mode of change rules within a change policy, allowing configuration of multiple change rules with distinct control modes.

Change Rule

A change rule applies verification based on an object's metadata attributes and logical conditions, controlling objects that fail verification according to the associated change policy's control mode.
