A change strategy is established based on predefined change rules, delineating its scope and control mechanisms. It allows for the configuration of multiple rules within a single strategy, each with distinct control methods. This topic outlines the process of creating a change strategy.
Background information
The change strategy encompasses the following aspects:
Change strategy: Defines the strategy's effective time, applicable platforms, scope of control, and validation rules. The strategy becomes active immediately upon configuration.
Effective time: The strategy is immediately operational upon creation or modification, applying the most recent rules to any changes in the asset object.
Management permissions: Creation of new change strategies is restricted to super administrators and system administrators, while editing and deletion are additionally available to strategy owners.
Prerequisites
Ensure that change rules have been established prior to creating a change strategy. For more information, see the referenced document.
