Dataphin provides a simple, fast, and efficient analysis platform for gaining insights from data in your data warehouse. You can run online queries and visual analysis to extract valuable information, draw conclusions, and support decision-making.

You must activate the Intelligent R&D Edition.
Analysis platform
In the analysis platform, you can run SQL code in Dev or Basic projects where you have permissions. The platform also supports binding a dedicated compute source, which lets you run SQL queries independently of any project. We recommend creating a dedicated compute source before you use the analysis platform. For more information, see Compute source.
The analysis platform supports the following types of offline compute sources: MaxCompute, Hadoop, Transwarp TDH 6.x, AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL, ArgoDB, StarRocks, GaussDB (DWS), Amazon EMR, SelectDB, Doris, Lindorm (compute engine), and OushuDB. Manual tables are not supported when you use GaussDB (DWS), Amazon EMR, SelectDB, Doris, or OushuDB as an offline compute source.
After you create a compute source for the analysis platform, you must bind it to the platform. For more information, see Analysis Platform Settings.

Notebook: The analysis platform lets you create a notebook to document your analysis workflow, including code, run results, and conclusions. For more information, see Create a notebook in the analysis platform.

SQL Query: Write and run SQL queries on the platform to retrieve the data you need. You can also perform visual analysis based on the query results. For more information, see Create an SQL query in the analysis platform.
