Dataphin:Expiration reminder and shutdown policy--semi-managed

Last Updated:Jun 17, 2026

Dataphin Semi-Managed sends expiration reminders before your instance expires and enforces a shutdown policy after expiration.

Expiration reminder

Dataphin sends text message reminders 60, 30, 15, and 1 day before a semi-managed instance expires. Back up your data or renew the instance promptly to prevent service disruption.

Shutdown policy

  • After expiration, the Dataphin instance automatically shuts down. All tasks are paused, access to the instance is blocked, and you cannot create scheduled task instances.

  • If you renew within 360 hours (15 days) after expiration, you can continue using the Dataphin instance. Note the release times for dependent cloud products to avoid data loss. Renew these products within the specified time frame:

    • ApsaraDB RDS PostgreSQL instances are released 7 days after expiration, and data becomes unrecoverable. For more information, see RDS PostgreSQL overdue payments.

    • Cloud Message Queue RocketMQ instances are released 7 days after expiration, and data becomes unrecoverable. For more information, see Overdue payments.

    • ApsaraDB Redis instances are released 22 days after expiration, and data becomes unrecoverable. For more information, see ApsaraDB Redis overdue payments.

    • Object Storage Service (OSS) instances are released 15 days after expiration, and data becomes unrecoverable. For more information, see Object Storage Service overdue payments.

  • If you do not renew within 360 hours (15 days) after expiration, all tasks are cleared and the instance is released. Text message reminders are sent 7 days and 1 day before release.
