CPFS for Lingjun is a next-generation Alibaba Cloud storage system built for AI workloads. It combines a distributed parallel storage architecture, a proprietary RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE) network protocol, virtual storage channel technology, and elastic clients with multi-level caching to deliver high throughput, low latency, and serverless storage performance.
Benefits
CPFS for Lingjun is ideal for AI workloads that demand ultra-high throughput and low I/O latency, such as AIGC, autonomous driving, and large model training. Core capabilities include:
-
High performance: Up to 2 TB/s throughput and 30,000,000 IOPS per file system, with up to 100 GB/s throughput for data transfer with OSS.
-
Low latency: Stable, sub-millisecond I/O latency.
-
Elastic scaling: Online capacity expansion with performance that scales linearly as capacity grows.
-
Massive file capacity: A fully symmetric metadata server architecture that supports up to 10 billion files per file system and over 100,000 metadata OPS.
-
Cost-effective: Efficient data transfer with OSS to reduce storage costs.
-
Secure: Log audits and data protection through Cloud Backup.
