Cloud Parallel File Storage:Product specifications

Last Updated:Jul 16, 2026

CPFS for Lingjun file systems support dual-channel parallel access via VSC high-speed access and VPC. This topic describes the performance specifications, capacity specifications, and applicable advanced features of CPFS for Lingjun.

File system performance specifications

When you access a CPFS for Lingjun file system over the VSC high-speed access channel using RDMA, the performance specifications are as follows:

Metric

CPFS for Lingjun 400 MB/s/TiB baseline (invitational preview)

Read throughput

min{400 × storage capacity (TiB), 400,000} MBps. Up to 2 TB/s. To increase read throughput, submit a ticket.

Write throughput

min{200 × storage capacity (TiB), 200,000} MBps

Maximum throughput per client (the maximum speed at which a single server accesses the file system)

25 GB/s

Read IOPS

min{6,800 × storage capacity (TiB), 6,800,000}. Up to 30,000,000. To increase read IOPS, submit a ticket.

Write IOPS

min{2,300 × storage capacity (TiB), 2,300,000}

Average single-stream 4 KB read latency

0.25 ms

Average single-stream 4 KB write latency

0.6 ms

When you access a CPFS for Lingjun file system over a VPC, the performance specifications are as follows:

Metric

CPFS for Lingjun 400 MB/s/TiB baseline (invitational preview)

Read throughput

The default read bandwidth of a single file system is 10 GB/s. If you require higher VPC bandwidth, submit a ticket.

Write throughput

The default write bandwidth of a single file system is 5 GB/s. If you require higher VPC bandwidth, submit a ticket.

Maximum throughput per client

5 GB/s

Average single-stream 4 KB read latency

0.75 ms

Average single-stream 4 KB write latency

1 ms

When a CPFS for Lingjun file system is accessed simultaneously over VSC and VPC, the larger the VPC bandwidth, the smaller the VSC-RDMA bandwidth.

Note

Cross-zone access through VPC mount targets is supported. Latency and throughput are affected by the network distance between zones and are higher than in same-zone scenarios. If you are sensitive to latency, we recommend that you deploy compute instances and the CPFS for Lingjun file system in the same zone.

Capacity specifications

  • Minimum capacity: 10 TiB

  • Scale-up step size: 10 TiB

  • Maximum capacity: 1 PiB

File systems up to 20 PiB can be created with a step size of 300 TiB. To apply, submit a ticket.

For scale-up limits, see Limitations.
