Hosted O&M services in Compute Nest are classified into two types: private services for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled and purely hosted O&M services. This topic describes how to create hosted O&M services of the two types.
Create a private service for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled
If you are a customer of a private service for which the hosted O&M feature is enabled, you must authorize the service provider to perform O&M operations on the resources deployed in a service instance when you create the service instance based on the private service. For more information, see Create a private service. In the O&M section, select Obtain Permissions, and then select the permissions to be granted to the service provider from the drop-down list.
Create a hosted O&M service
Log on to the Compute Nest console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click My Services. On the Created Services tab of the My Services page, click Create Service.
On the Create Service page, configure the service information.
Select Create Service By Customizing and then select Managed O&M Service as the service type.
Click Next: Configure Settings.
On the Create Service page, configure the service information.
In the Basic Information section, configure the basic service information.

The permissions on the deployment URL of the service.
You can configure this parameter as needed. Valid values:
Public: After a customer obtains the deployment URL of the service, the customer can create service instances using the deployment URL.
Private: Only customers whose account IDs are added to the customer whitelist of the deployment URL can access the service or create service instances using the deployment URL. For more information, see Modify the permissions on service deployment.
