CloudMonitor:Enable the monitoring feature of CloudMonitor for an ACK cluster

The monitoring feature of CloudMonitor is disabled by default for Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) clusters created after 10:00:00 on April 25, 2024. Before you can use CloudMonitor to monitor a cluster, you must manually enable the monitoring feature for the cluster.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ACK console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters.

  3. On the Clusters page, find the cluster that you want to manage, click More in the Actions column, and then choose Operations > Manage Components.

  4. In the Logs and Monitoring section of the Core Components tab, click Configuration in the lower-right corner of the metrics-server component.

  5. In the metrics-server Parameters dialog box, select Enables Kubernetes Monitoring of CloudMonitor.

  6. Click OK.

  7. View the monitoring data of the ACK cluster. For more information, see View the monitoring data of an ACK cluster.
