Adding an organization to a consortium requires three steps completed by two parties: the consortium creator sends the invitation, the invited organization accepts it, and the creator approves the request.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Step 1: Invite an organization
Perform these steps as the consortium creator.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console.
At the bottom of the Overview page, locate the target consortium and click its name.
On the Member Organizations tab, click Invite Organization.
Click Confirm and Copy, then send the link to the organizations you want to invite by email, instant message, or any other method.
Step 2: Accept the invitation
Perform these steps as the invited organization.
Log on to Alibaba Cloud.
If you have an Alibaba Cloud account, log on at https://account.alibabacloud.com/login/login.htm.
If you are a RAM user, log on at https://signin.alibabacloud.com/login.htm.
Open the invitation link in your browser.
NoteIf you have not activated Blockchain as a Service (BaaS), apply for the service before proceeding.
Select the organizations to be added to the consortium, then click Join.
Step 3: Approve the request
Perform these steps as the consortium creator. Each organization must be approved before it can join.
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console.
At the bottom of the Overview page, locate the target consortium and click its name.
On the Member Organizations tab, click Pending.
Select the organization, then click Approve.
The organization now appears on the consortium details page.
