A channel provides a private communication pathway within a consortium, isolating one business's transactions from others. Each channel has its own ledger, and a consortium can have multiple channels. Organizations in a consortium can join one or more channels.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
A consortium. See Create consortia.
At least one organization added to the consortium. See Create organizations and Add organizations to a consortium.
Create a channel
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud BaaS console.
On the Overview page, locate the target consortium and click its name.
Click the Channels tab.
Click Add Channel.
Enter a name for the channel.
Select the organizations to add to the channel. If the target organization is not listed, invite it to join the consortium first.
Click Submit.
After you submit, the system sends an invitation to each selected organization. Each organization must accept the invitation before it is added to the channel.
