In the Bastionhost O&M portal, local users can view the assets they are authorized to manage and log on to a target asset directly over a web remote connection. This topic describes how to log on to the portal and perform O&M on a host.
Supported editions
Enterprise Edition and SM Edition
If your Bastionhost instance is a Basic Edition instance, you must upgrade it to a supported edition. For more information, see Upgrade an instance.
Prerequisites
Before you perform host O&M, make sure that the following requirements are met:

Your Bastionhost instance runs a supported edition.

You have a Bastionhost local user account created by an administrator. A RAM user cannot be used. See Manage users.

An administrator has added the hosts you want to manage to Bastionhost. See Add hosts.

An administrator has granted your user permissions on the assets and asset accounts you need. See Authorize assets and asset accounts.
Procedure

Log on to the Bastionhost O&M portal. See Log on to the O&M portal.
In the navigation pane on the left, click Hosts.

In the host list, find the host you want to manage. In the Remote Connection column, click Remote Connection.

In the Remote Connection dialog box, select a Host Account, then click Web Remote Connection.

On the web O&M page that opens, perform O&M on the host.
File transfer limits
Use a client to upload large files.
SSH: The maximum size of a single file that can be transferred is 2 GB.
RDP: The maximum size of a single file that can be transferred is 2 GB. The maximum size of files that can be transferred in a single session is 5 GB. The maximum size of files that can be transferred in concurrent sessions is 50 GB.
