Use single sign-on (SSO) authentication to launch a local client and connect to applications managed by Bastionhost.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Permissions on application O&M. To import applications and grant permissions, see Application management.
Bastionhost Assistant installed on the machine where the local client runs. For installation instructions, see Download and install Bastionhost Assistant.
Connect to an application
Choose the procedure for your account type:
RAM users — access through the Bastionhost console
Non-RAM users — access through the O&M portal
Bastionhost console (RAM users)
Log on to the Bastionhost console and select your region in the top navigation bar.
In the bastion host list, find the target instance and click Manage.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Asset O&M > Application O&M.
On the Application O&M page, find the application you want to connect to.
In the Remote Connection column, click the drop-down arrow. In the dialog box that appears, select an application account, set Logon Method to Local Client Logon, and then click Log On.
O&M portal (non-RAM users)
Log on to the O&M portal. For instructions, see Log on to the O&M portal.
In the left navigation bar, click Application.
On the Application O&M page, find the application you want to connect to. In the Remote Connection column, click the drop-down arrow. In the dialog box that appears, set Logon Method to Local Client Logon and click Log On.
