This topic describes how to back up the data of an instance. If the data of an instance is lost or corrupted, you can restore the instance by using the backups. By default, the system automatically backs up the data of an instance. You can modify the automatic backup policy or create a manual backup task.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB MyBase console.
  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the region where you want to create a dedicated cluster.
  3. In the left-side navigation pane, click Instances, and then click a database engine.
  4. Each database engine requires different configurations for the backup. Configure the backup settings base on the database engine.
