Modify, pause, enable, or delete an existing resource scaling plan from the AnalyticDB for MySQL console.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
A resource scaling plan that is already created
Navigate to the scaling plan management page
Log on to the AnalyticDB for MySQL console. In the upper-left corner, select a region. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters, then click the cluster ID.
Go to the scaling plan management page based on your cluster edition:
Enterprise Edition, Basic Edition, or Data Lakehouse Edition: In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cluster Management > Resource Management. Click the Scaling Plans tab.
Data Warehouse Edition: In the left-side navigation pane, click Elastic Resource Scaling.
Manage scaling plans
On the Resource Scaling Plans tab, find the scaling plan and perform one of the following operations:
| Operation | Description |
|---|---|
| Modify | Update the scaling plan configuration. For parameter details, see Create a resource scaling plan. Note You cannot modify the plan name or type. |
| Pause or Disable | Stop the scaling plan from triggering further scaling events. This is equivalent to turning off Enabled for the plan. After you pause the scaling plan, no scaling is performed based on the scaling plan. |
| Enable | Reactivate a paused scaling plan. This is equivalent to turning on Enabled for the plan. For information about when the plan takes effect after enabling, see When does a resource scaling plan take effect? |
| Delete | Permanently remove the scaling plan. |
Deleted scaling plans cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
