AnalyticDB:Delete or unsubscribe from a cluster

Last Updated:Jun 05, 2026

Idle clusters still incur charges. If you no longer need a cluster, you can delete a pay-as-you-go cluster or unsubscribe from a subscription cluster to avoid unnecessary costs.

Warning

After you delete or unsubscribe from a cluster, its resources are immediately released. All data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.

Prerequisites

The cluster must be in the Running state.

Delete a pay-as-you-go cluster

  1. Log in to the AnalyticDB for MySQL console. In the upper-left corner, select the cluster's region. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. Above the Clusters list, select an edition.

  2. Find the cluster that you want to delete. In the Actions column, choose More > Delete.

  3. In the Delete Cluster dialog box, click OK.

Unsubscribe from a subscription cluster

  1. Go to Expenses and Costs.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

  3. In the Actions column for the cluster, click Unsubscribe Resource.

  4. On the Unsubscribe Resource page, select a reason for unsubscribing, then read and agree to the unsubscription agreement.

  5. Click Unsubscribe.

Note
  • After you unsubscribe from a subscription cluster, it is locked for seven calendar days. During this period, you cannot perform any operations on the cluster. After the lock period ends, the system automatically releases the cluster, and all its data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

  • For details about the refund process, see Refund flow.
