This topic describes the scenarios for the AnalyticDB for MySQL (AnalyticDB for MySQL for short) service-linked role (AliyunServiceRoleForAnalyticDBForMySQL) and how to delete the service-linked role.
Background information
The AnalyticDB for MySQL service-linked role (AliyunServiceRoleForAnalyticDBForMySQL) is a RAM role that AnalyticDB for MySQL requires in some cases to access other cloud services to complete certain features. For more information about service-linked roles, see Service-linked roles.

Role name: AliyunServiceRoleForAnalyticDBForMySQL
Policy name: AliyunServiceRolePolicyForAnalyticDBForMySQL
To view the role's permissions:

Log on to the RAM console.

In the navigation pane on the left, click Role.

On the Role page, enter AliyunServiceRoleForAnalyticDBForMySQL in the search box and click the role name.

On the Permissions tab, click the policy name.

On the Policy Document tab, view the policy details.
Delete the service-linked role
You must release all dependent AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters before you can delete the AliyunServiceRoleForAnalyticDBForMySQL service-linked role.
