AnalyticDB:Access control

To ensure data security, you can use the access control policies of AnalyticDB for MySQL to allow only authorized users to access resources. This topic describes the access control policies of AnalyticDB for MySQL.

Overview

AnalyticDB for MySQL supports the following access control policies:

  • Configure an IP address whitelist

  • Use tags to classify resources

Configure an IP address whitelist

To ensure data security, AnalyticDB for MySQL denies all access to AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters by default. Before you can use an AnalyticDB for MySQL cluster, you must configure an IP address whitelist to allow specific IP addresses to access the cluster. For more information, see IP address whitelists.

Use tags to classify resources

If you have a large number of AnalyticDB for MySQL clusters, you can use tags to classify and filter the clusters. For more information, see Manage tags.
