AnalyticDB:Manage tags

Last Updated:Aug 30, 2024

This topic describes how to add tags to and remove tags from an AnalyticDB for MySQL cluster and filter clusters by tag. Tags help you manage clusters in an easier and more efficient manner.

Limits

  • You can add up to 20 tags to each cluster. Tag keys must be unique. If two tags have the same key, the tag that is created later overwrites the earlier tag.

  • You can add or remove up to 20 tags at a time.

  • Clusters that are deployed in different regions do not share the same tag namespace.

  • After you remove a tag from a cluster, AnalyticDB for MySQL checks whether the tag is added to other clusters. If not, AnalyticDB for MySQL deletes the tag.

Create a tag

  1. Log on to the AnalyticDB for MySQL console. In the upper-left corner of the console, select a region. In the left-side navigation pane, click Clusters. On the Clusters page, click an edition tab. Find the cluster that you want to manage and click the cluster ID.

  2. In the Cluster Attributes section of the Cluster Information page, click the image icon next to the Tag parameter.

  3. In the Configure Tags dialog box, specify values for the Tag Key and Tag Value parameters and click OK.

    Note

If you have created tags, you can select an existing tag from the drop-down list below Resource Tag.

  4. Click OK. The created tag is added to the cluster.

Filter clusters by tag

To cancel the filtering operation, click Clear.

Delete a tag
