AnalyticDB for MySQL allows you to manage metadata in a unified manner, improving management efficiency and preventing inconsistencies that may occur during metadata synchronization. On top of that, AnalyticDB for MySQL uses the open source Arrow data format to facilitate data transfer across various compute engines.
Additionally, AnalyticDB for MySQL provides AnalyticDB Pipeline Service (APS), a high-speed, low-cost data streaming tool that supports sources such as Simple Log Service (SLS) and Kafka. It can deliver a single-link throughput of up to 4 GB per second. APS provides a GUI that allows you to configure resources and latency alerts and manage synchronization tasks. You can also use APS to keep track of the synchronization rate and latency during data ingestion.
In terms of billing, the computing and storage resources of AnalyticDB for MySQL are billed based on AnalyticDB compute units (ACUs), a standardized billing unit.
