Alibaba Mail:Set up Alibaba Mail on the iPhone Mail app

Last Updated:Jun 02, 2026

Configure an Alibaba Mail account in the iPhone's native Mail app to send and receive email directly from your iPhone. This topic uses iOS 16.3.1 as an example.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • Enabled IMAP or POP3 access in the Alibaba Mail console. Go to Settings > Account > POP3/IMAP/SMTP and enable the protocol you want to use

  • Your Alibaba Mail email address and the password or authorization code for third-party clients. If your account requires an authorization code for third-party access, use that instead of your login password

Add your Alibaba Mail account

  1. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account > Other > Add mail account.

  2. In the New account section, enter your email address and password, then tap Next.

  3. Select the IMAP or POP3 protocol, then enter the server settings for the protocol you chose.
