Description
After the Alibaba Mail is enabled, the resolution status shows Resolution Invalid in the Alibaba Mail Console.
Cause
The resolution status check in the Alibaba Mail Console is a scheduled automatic verification feature that automatically runs and checks the resolution status of your domain name at a specific time. If the Resolution Invalid message appears in the console, the possible causes are as follows:
The first resolution status check is not completed as the Alibaba Mail is activated for the first time. Therefore, Resolution Invalid is displayed.
The domain name resolution of the email service is not configured, or the domain name resolution of the email service is set incorrectly. As a result, the verification fails and Resolution Invalid is displayed.
Solution
Please refer to the following steps to check:
1. Log on to the Alibaba Mail Console.
2. Find your email service in the email services list and click Manage in the actions column.
3. On the Basic Info tab, click Resolution Result or Refresh.
4. Select the corresponding operation according to the check result:
A. The resolution status is displayed as Resolved. Please logon to the Alibaba Mail and use it normally. For more information, please check Alibaba Mail Activation Guide.
b. The resolution status is displayed as Resolution Invalid. Please check your domain name resolution and make sure that the domain name resolution settings of the email address are correct.
