Overview
You can add an A record to a domain name and point the domain name to the IP address of the Web server. This ensures that your website is accessible.
Add an A record
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS console
In the left-side navigation pane, click Manage DNS. On the Authority Domains tab, click a domain name to open the DNS Settings page.
Add an A record
In this example, dns-example.top is the primary domain name. If both www.dns-example.top and dns-example.top are required for website access, you must add an A record to each domain name.
On the DNS Settings page, click the Add Record button.
Add an A record to www.dns-example.top, set the Host name to www, and point www.dns-example.top to 192.0.2.1, which is the IP address of the Web server.
Add an A record to dns-example.com, se Host name to @, and point dns-example.top to 192.0.2.1, which is the IP address of the Web server.
