Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) provides multiple cluster types. The billing rules vary based on the cluster type that you select. This topic describes the billing rules of ACK clusters.

Cluster management fee
The cluster management fee varies based on the cluster type. ACK clusters are integrated with the virtualization, storage, networking, and security capabilities of Alibaba Cloud. These capabilities facilitate the management of high-performance and scalable applications that are deployed in ACK clusters. These capabilities also simplify the operations that are required to create or scale clusters. This way, you can focus on the development and management of containerized applications.
Node management fee
ACK@Edge supports various types of heterogeneous resources, such as resources in data centers, Edge Node Service (ENS) nodes, IoT devices, and nodes based on the x86 and ARM architectures. Hybrid scheduling of heterogeneous resources is supported.
Cloud service fee
The cloud service fee is charged by the cloud services used by your ACK cluster based on the billing rules of these services. No cloud service fee is charged if no cloud service is used by your ACK cluster.
Billable items of different ACK cluster types
: ACK charges the fee for the cluster type and you need to pay the fee. 
: ACK charges the fee for the cluster type but you do not need to pay the fee. N/A: ACK does not charge the fee for the cluster type.
