If your account email address is no longer accessible, you should log on to the console and change it immediately. If you cannot log on to change it by yourself, follow the instructions in this topic and submit an appeal to update it.
Option 1: Change your account email address online
First, try to change your account email address online. For detailed steps, see Change account logon email.
Log on to Alibaba Cloud with your current account email address and password. Navigate to the Security Settings page in the Account Center. Next to your logon account, click Modify.
Verify your identity. Since your email address is unavailable, you must use your registered secure phone for verification.
Enter a new, accessible Logon Email Address and click Get Verification Code For Free. Enter the verification code you receive, and click OK to complete the change.
If you cannot access your registered secure phone, you may not be able to complete the online process. In this case, follow the steps in Option 2 below to submit an appeal. A support engineer will help you update the email address.
Option 2: Submit an appeal to update your email address
If both your email address and secure phone are unavailable, the appeal process has two main steps: submitting your appeal information and confirming the appeal result.
1. Submit your appeal information
Go to the Alibaba Cloud homepage. In the upper-right corner, click Log In. On the sign-in page, click Other Sign In Difficulties?
Select Both the registered phone number and email of my account are unavailable and click Next.
Complete the slider verification and fill in the appeal form. Click Submit.
NoteProvide your original email address along with a new, accessible phone number and email address.
Providing proof of ownership, such as transaction records, will help us process your request and recover your account faster.
2. Confirm the appeal result
After you submit the appeal materials, the page will display a Query Code and a link to track its progress. Because changing your email address or phone number is a sensitive operation, our support engineer will contact you to re-verify your identity and payment information. After receiving your authorization, the engineer will update your registered email address or phone number.
