Microservices Engine:Manage alert contacts

When an alert rule is triggered, notifications are sent to the specified contact group. Before you create a contact group, you must create contacts. When you create a contact, you can specify a mobile phone number and an email address for the contact to receive notifications.

Create a contact

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Alerts > Contacts.

  3. Click the Contacts tab. Then, click Create Contact.

  4. In the Create Contact dialog box, configure the parameters, such as Name, Phone Number, and Email.

    Note
    • You must specify a mobile phone number or an email address for the contact.

    • Each mobile phone number or email address can be used for only one contact.

    • You can create up to 100 contacts.

Create a contact group

  1. Log on to the MSE console. In the top navigation bar, select a region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Cloud-native Gateway > Alerts > Contacts.

  3. Click the Contacts tab. Then, click Create Contact Group.

  4. In the Create Contact Group dialog box, configure the Group Name parameter, select contacts in Alert Contacts, and then click OK.

    Note

    If no contacts are available in Alert Contacts, you must create contacts. For more information about how to create a contact, see the Create a contact section in this topic.

What to do next

  • To search for a contact, click the Contacts tab, enter the full name or partial characters of the name of the contact or contact group in the search box, and click the 图标5.png icon.

  • To modify a contact, find the contact and click Edit in the Actions column. In the Edit Contact dialog box, modify the contact information and click OK.

  • To delete a contact, find the contact and click Delete in the Actions column. In the message that appears, click OK.

  • To delete multiple contacts at a time, select the contacts and click Batch Delete in the lower part of the Contacts tab. In the message that appears, click OK.

  • To modify a contact group, click the 图标.png icon to the right of the contact group. In the list that appears, select Edit Group. In the Edit Contact Group dialog box, modify the parameters and click OK.

  • To view the contacts in a contact group, click the rightwards arrow to the left of the contact group.

  • To delete a contact group, click the 图标.png icon to the right of the contact group. In the list that appears, select Delete Group.

    Important

    Before you delete a contact group, make sure that no monitoring jobs to which the contact group is attached are running. If monitoring jobs to which the contact group is attached are running, features such as alerting may not take effect after you delete the contact group.
