It was an exciting series that we had this February where we discussed about the Kubernetes technology and the GPU services that Alibaba Cloud has as well.
Did you know that one of the main bottlenecks in developing AI models is computing power? Well... Alibaba Cloud has already invested in powerful GPUs in Indonesia in order for you to train your AI models, render your videos/movies or even boot up your heavy-duty application.
In this cloud fighters we discussed further about Alibaba Cloud GPU Services that helped AI engineers to develop their models. Not only we provide the computing power but Alibaba Cloud also provide acceleration tools for engineers to use and accelerate their model development. The acceleration tool is called AIACC (Apsara AI Acceleration).
Alibaba Cloud AI Acceleration solution leverages leading dataset and GPU accelerators to orchestrate data-intensive applications, optimize utilization of GPU instances, and speed up AI model training and inference tasks. You can also use Alibaba Cloud's customizable cloud-native AI training platform to tailor to your business needs and improve the efficiency for AI infrastructure and daily O&M. The acceleration reached up to 100% faster compared to normal GPUs for Image classification and 200% faster for face recognition.
