HappyOyster is the world’s first proactive real-time interactive open-world model developed by Alibaba ATH. With merely a text prompt or a single image, users can generate immersive, explorable, interactive digital worlds that support free movement, plot performance and in-depth exploration. Centered on the core theme of "the bond between users and virtual worlds", Version 1.0 features two flagship functional modes: Adventure and Directing.
HappyOyster's Adventure Mode enables users to generate fully explorable, interactive open worlds via text prompts or reference images. The model spawns custom characters set within bespoke virtual environments and predicts real-time world evolution in response to user interactive commands to deliver instant feedback. It supports seamless character movements and environmental interactions lasting over one minute with synchronized audio and visual outputs.

The Directing Mode empowers users to act as live directors on a virtual film set. Text prompts allow real-time control over camera angles, character choreography and plot progression, with instant visual rendering and continuous scene playback. Users may pause, revise or rewind storylines at any moment. The model excels in scenarios including AI digital human companionship, scripted and stage performances, and first-person immersive simulation, boasting robust real-time interactivity.

HappyOyster 1.0 ushers in a new era of next-generation multimodal interactive content. In the interactive gaming sector, developers can rapidly generate open-world prototypes, character interactions and combat sequences by uploading images and entering text prompts. For interactive short dramas and virtual companionship scenarios, users build customized characters and storylines through natural language commands, with the flexibility to rewrite plot developments at any story juncture. Within cultural tourism, the model delivers immersive exploratory experiences for visitors.
HappyOyster 1.0 is now open gray testing, offering cross-platform SDKs compatible with Android, iOS and Web. Developers can manage virtual worlds via server-side Open APIs. The client-side SDK integrates RTC connections, video rendering and real-time interaction functions, supporting both Adventure and Directing modes. Users can export footage after finishing their immersive sessions. Enterprises and developers may leverage the SDK to quickly build playable virtual worlds, interactive dramas, AI companions and other immersive applications.
Reactor has become one of the first official partners integrated with HappyOyster. The two sides have entered a formal strategic partnership to conduct in-depth research on product implementation and technological innovation centered on open-world models.
