Cloud computing has provided enterprises with immense flexibility by allowing them to adopt a multi-cloud, vendor agnostic approach when deploying services. Enterprise applications can run on multiple clouds, in which each server is associated with multi-cloud accounts provided by different cloud providers. You can also use multiple container services on a single platform to reduce time and increase productivity.

Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) provides registry provisioning in one place where you can manage your nodes, deployments, and other resources that containerize your application development and deployment efficiently. It facilitates auto-scaling, which adjusts the number of containers automatically and rapidly according to the container resource usage across different cloud infrastructures, resulting in lesser costs and improved efficiency.

Alibaba Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK)

Containers are designed to help developers and IT departments develop, run, and manage cloud applications in an isolated environment. Alibaba Container Service, which is compatible with Kubernetes, helps users focus on their application management rather than container infrastructure. In ACK, containers and clusters are provided as a service that can be deployed in data centers or on the cloud.

ACK Features

  • It gives the flexibility to create and delete clusters in multiple regions and networks.
  • ACK helps create and add ECS instances into a cluster.
  • It manages the container lifecycle in terms of networking, monitoring, logging, application scheduling, storage, and routing.
  • ACK is integrated with VPC to give secure and pepped-up deployment solutions that support hybrid cloud. Its integration with Server Load Balancer (SLB) enables you to use the capacity of multiple containers.
  • ACK provides APIs for cluster and application management. These APIs are flexible enough for continuous integration and customized deployments.
  • You can deploy application zones for high availability and disaster recovery with the help of ACK.

Alibaba Container Registry (ACR)

Alibaba Container Registry is a private repository. It is a secure image hosting platform that offers containerized management of an image lifecycle. A container image consists of multiple layers to execute operations in a single instance. You can access these images from containers for application development. ACR simplifies the creation, support, and maintenance of images in the registry of different regions, while ACR and ACK provide an optimized solution for Docker and containers on the cloud.

ACR Features

  • ACR is flexible and secure and provides automatic/manual image security scans, image sharing, and report image vulnerabilities for different severity levels.
  • ACR allows the automatic creation of images using source code repositories from Alibaba Cloud code, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
  • Its SDK and API help you customize image management and perform extended development.
  • ACR is integrated with Alibaba Container Service to enable undisrupted resource integration of and solution delivery.

Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) integrates virtualization, storage, networking, and security capabilities. Alibaba Cloud is one of the first cloud vendors to pass Kubernetes conformance. It helps create containers and clusters easily. Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes offers features, such as logging, permission, authorization, cluster management, integration, high availability, resource management, monitoring, and routing. It helps you deploy Kubernetes resources easily and efficiently, and users don't have to explore or develop Kubernetes alone.

Manage your workaround and resources using Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) for container Kubernetes and container registry services to resolve complex cloud computing operations with amazing flexibility and agility.
