This topic describes the billing rules for exporting rows in Data Management (DMS).

  • DMS Express: The maximum number of rows that can be exported for free per user on each calendar day is 200,000. If the upper limit is reached, the excessive rows can still be exported in the current task. However, you cannot create other tasks to export rows on that day.
  • DMS Pro: The maximum number of rows that can be exported for free per user on each calendar day is 10 million. If the upper limit is reached, you are billed USD 0.47 per 10 million rows for the rows that exceed the free quota.
  • The number of exported rows per user on each calendar day is calculated based on the day when the export task is complete. For example, a DMS Pro user created a task to export 7 million rows from Instance A on April 22, 2019, and the export task was complete on April 23, 2019. On April 23, 2019, the user exported another 4 million rows from Instance B. In this case, the total number of rows exported by the user on April 23, 2019, is 11 million.
  • If you use DMS Express, the first export task that reaches the upper limit of each calendar day can be complete as expected. However, you cannot export more rows on the same day.
