Manage the lifecycle of cloud computers from the WUYING Workspace console. You can start, stop, restart, or release cloud computers individually or in batches of up to 100.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
Access to the EDS console
Cloud computers in the required state for each operation (see the following table)

Start a cloud computer

Log on to the Elastic Desktop Service Enterprise console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose .

In the top navigation bar, select a region.
Start cloud computers by using one of the following methods:
Single operation: Find the cloud computer and click Start in the Actions column.
Batch operation: Select the cloud computers and click Start/Wake Up at the bottom of the page.
NoteSelect up to 100 cloud computers at a time.
In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm.
Stop a cloud computer
Make sure that end users have saved all data and files before you stop a cloud computer. Unsaved data is lost.

Stop cloud computers by using one of the following methods:
Single operation: Find the cloud computer and click Stop in the Actions column.
Batch operation: Select the cloud computers and click Stop at the bottom of the page.
NoteSelect up to 100 cloud computers at a time.
In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm.
Restart a cloud computer
A restart shuts down the cloud computer and starts it again.
Make sure that end users have saved all data and files before you restart a cloud computer. Unsaved data is lost.

Restart cloud computers by using one of the following methods:
Single operation: Find the cloud computer and click Restart in the Actions column.
Batch operation: Select the cloud computers and click Restart at the bottom of the page.

In the confirmation dialog, click Confirm.
Release a cloud computer
After you release a cloud computer, data in storage resources is cleared. Back up important data before releasing.
Limits
Only pay-as-you-go cloud computers can be released manually. Subscription cloud computers cannot be released before expiration. If you want to release a subscription cloud computer before it expires, submit a ticket. If a subscription cloud computer is not renewed within the grace period after expiration, it is automatically released.
Only cloud computers in the Running, Stopped, Expired, Hibernated, or Creation Failed state can be released.

Single operation: Find the cloud computer and click Release in the Actions column.
Batch operation: Select the cloud computers and click Release at the bottom of the page.

In the confirmation dialog, click OK.
Billing impact of stopping and releasing
The following table describes how stopping and releasing cloud computers affect billing.

| Pay-as-you-go | Charged for storage resources only (system disks, data disks). Compute resources (vCPUs, GPUs, memory) are not charged. | No further charges for compute or storage resources. |
| Subscription (unlimited hours) | Compute and storage resources are still charged. | Subscription cloud computers cannot be released before expiration. To release a subscription cloud computer early, submit a ticket. |
| Subscription (120 or 250 hours/month) | If the running duration has not exceeded the monthly limit, no charge applies.
