WUYING Terminal:Quick start

Last Updated:Jul 08, 2024

Alibaba Cloud Workspace is a comprehensive solution that bridges the cloud and terminals. It allows you to connect to cloud services such as Elastic Desktop Service (EDS) from on-premises clients for different operating systems (OSs). You can access Alibaba Cloud Workspace by using Alibaba Cloud Workspace terminals.

Background information

Roles of Alibaba Cloud Workspace users fall into the following categories:

  • End users: individuals who access cloud computers from Alibaba Cloud Workspace terminals. Example: Jack, a designer from a design company.

  • Administrators: O&M personnel who are responsible for resource purchase and renewal, resource creation and assignment, policy creation and binding, O&M and monitoring, and end user management. Example: Steven, the IT administrator of the company in which the designer Jack works.

Before you begin

Make the following preparations based on your role before you use Alibaba Cloud Workspace:

The following example shows the logon credentials (including the office network ID, username, and password) in the notification email after the cloud computer is assigned. Such information is required when you log on to the terminal.
