    Web Application Firewall:End of renewal for specific subscription WAF 2.0 editions

    Dear Alibaba Cloud users,

    After July 15, 2023, only subscription Web Application Firewall (WAF) 2.0 instances of the following editions can be renewed: Basic, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Exclusive, and Hybrid Cloud WAF. You can still use your WAF 2.0 instance to protect your web applications before the instance expires. After the instance expires, you can no longer use the instance to protect your web applications.

    To ensure business continuity, we recommend that you switch your WAF 2.0 instance to WAF 3.0 before the instance expires. Compared with WAF 2.0, WAF 3.0 provides higher O&M efficiency and improved access architecture, protection configuration logic, and billing rules.     Switching method

    1. Submit a ticket to unsubscribe from the current WAF 2.0 instance.

    2. Purchase a WAF 3.0 instance. For more information, see Purchase a subscription WAF 3.0 instance and Purchase a pay-as-you-go WAF 3.0 instance.
