After an SSL client establishes an SSL-VPN connection with Alibaba Cloud, you can view information about connected clients on the SSL server details page.
Prerequisites
By default, VPN Gateway instances created before December 10, 2022 do not support viewing SSL client connection information. To enable this, upgrade the VPN Gateway instance.
VPN Gateway instances created after December 10, 2022 support this feature by default.
View SSL client connections
Log on to the VPN Gateway console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Interconnections > VPN > SSL Servers.
In the top navigation bar, select the region of the SSL server.
On the SSL Servers page, find the target SSL server and click its ID.

On the SSL server details page, click the SSL Connection tab to view information about connected clients.
Parameter
Description
Logon Name
The username of the client.
If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on the SSL server, this column displays the username used for authentication.
If 2FA is not enabled, this column displays the ID and name of the SSL client certificate instance by default.
Virtual IP
The private IP address that the VPN Gateway instance assigns to the client for the SSL-VPN connection.
Received Traffic
The traffic received from the client through the SSL-VPN connection. Unit: bytes.
Transmitted Traffic
The traffic sent to the client through the SSL-VPN connection. Unit: bytes.
Status
The status of the SSL-VPN connection. A value of Running indicates a successful connection.
Actual IP
The public IP address that the client uses to establish the SSL-VPN connection.
Port
The port number that the client uses for the SSL-VPN connection.
Connected At
The time when the client established the SSL-VPN connection.
