VPN Gateway:Enable the SSL-VPN feature

If the SSL-VPN feature is disabled for a VPN Gateway instance, you can enable the feature on the instance. You do not need to create a new VPN Gateway instance.

Limits

  • If your VPN gateway was created before January 20, 2018 and has not been upgraded, you must upgrade the VPN gateway before you can enable the SSL-VPN feature. For more information, see Upgrade a VPN gateway.

    If your VPN gateway was created before January 20, 2018 and has been upgraded, you can directly enable the SSL-VPN feature.

  • If your VPN gateway was created after January 20, 2018, you can directly enable the SSL-VPN feature.

Effective period

After you enable the SSL-VPN feature for a VPN Gateway instance, the feature takes effect immediately. However, you may experience a latency of a few minutes due to network issues.

Impacts on billing

After you submit the order, the system starts to bill the VPN Gateway based on the new configuration. For more information, see SSL-VPN billing.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the VPN Gateway console.

  2. In the top menu bar, select the region of the VPN gateway.

  3. On the VPN Gateway page, find the target VPN Gateway instance. In the Feature Configuration column, click Enable next to SSL Disabled.

  4. On the configuration page, select Enable for SSL-VPN, specify the number of SSL-VPN connections, read and accept the Terms of Service, click Buy Now, and complete the payment.
