Starting in September 2025, Alibaba Cloud will begin a phased rollout of updates to the billing precision and data fields for pay-as-you-go cloud resources.
What's changing

The maximum billing precision for pay-as-you-go cloud resources will increase from 6 to 10 decimal places. For a list of the affected fields, see Changes in bill field logic before and after the adjustment.

The Transaction Details report in the legacy Expenses and Costs console will be retired.

Change details: This change retires the Consumption by Bill report, which is located under Bills > Bill Details in the legacy Expenses and Costs console.

Impact and alternative: The query functionality from this report is now available on the Overview of Monthly Bill page, accessible from the Bills menu. For more information, see Bill instructions.

Billing data for the Billing Details will be added to the detailed bill. For a detailed explanation, see New rounding fees in the detailed bill.

Affected users: These updates will be rolled out in phases. The changes will apply to your account once it is included in a rollout phase.

Affected data: The adjustments apply only to billing data generated after the update. Your historical billing data will remain unchanged.
