This topic describes two billing changes for pay-as-you-go cloud resources: increased decimal precision in bill fields, and a new Rounded-down Fee line item in detailed bills. These changes apply to bills viewed in the Alibaba Cloud console, bills delivered through OSS subscriptions, and bill data synchronized through Message Center. Billing-related APIs are not affected.

New Rounded-down Fee in detailed bills
What changed
A new line item called Rounded-down Fee now appears in the bill details.
Before: Rounded-down Fee were not reflected in the bill.
After: Alibaba Cloud pricing for pay-as-you-go resources supports up to 10 decimal places. During monthly settlement, these precise fees are aggregated, and values from the third to the tenth decimal place are truncated. The total truncated amount is recorded as the Rounded-down Fee.
By default, this fee is linked to the instances and billable items that incurred charges during the current month. The fee appears as a negative value (for example, USD -0.09), where the absolute value represents the credit applied to your account.
The Rounded-down Fee is generated during end-of-month settlement and appears in the detailed bill on the last day of the month. It does not appear in bills generated during the month.
