Policy overview
Dear customer,
In accordance with the latest regulatory requirements from the National Communications Commission (NCC) of Taiwan (China), effective November 1, 2025, all SMS messages sent to Taiwan (China) must comply with new standards. To ensure your SMS service is not disrupted, review the requirements below:
New requirements
Brand name in message content
All messages must include a sender ID (brand name) to help recipients identify the message source.
Recommended format: [BrandName] Your one-time verification code is xxxx.
The sender ID can be in Chinese or English. English text must use half-width characters.
Place the sender ID at the beginning of the message. The use of symbols, such as brackets, is optional.
Messages that do not include a registered brand name will be automatically blocked by local carrier systems.
Brand name registration
You must complete brand name registration before sending any SMS messages. This requires submitting the following information:
Company basic information:

Company name
Company website
Company registration number
Primary company contact number
Sample message template
Required Know Your Customer (KYC) documents:

In accordance with data protection regulations, submitted documents are not stored long-term. A complete set of documents must be resubmitted for each new brand name registration.
Only senders who have completed the review process and are whitelisted can send messages.
