Problem description
The instance retains its original hostname from the previous cloud platform after you migrate a Linux server.
Cause
The cloud-init software is not installed or started on the ECS instance, or the cloud-init versions of the source server is incompatible with Alibaba Cloud.
Solution
Install cloud-init and restart the instance to update the hostname. For more information, see Install cloud-init.
