Simple Log Service:Common operations for service logs

After you enable the log feature for an Alibaba Cloud service on its console, you can use Simple Log Service to manage them.

Common operations

You can perform the following operations on logs collected from your Alibaba Cloud service.

View raw logs

Charts

You can display the results of query and analysis statements as charts. For more information, see Charts.

Configure alerts

Create a dashboard

Create a dashboard and add charts to it. For more information, see Add a chart to a dashboard.

Download logs

Simple Log Service allows you to download logs to your local machine. For more information, see Download logs.

Data transformation

You can standardize, enrich, distribute, and aggregate your data. For more information, see Data transformation.

Data consumption

Data shipping

You can ship your data to other Alibaba Cloud services, such as OSS, MaxCompute, for storage or further analysis. For more information, see Data shipping.

RAM user authorization

To allow a RAM user to manage logs for an Alibaba Cloud service, grant permissions to the RAM user from your Alibaba Cloud account.

You can use the permission assistant to configure permissions for a RAM user. For more information, see Configure the permission assistant. In the permission settings for functional modules, select Project, Logstore, and Data Ingestion (Alibaba Cloud Services), and set the permission level for each module to Manage.
