Simple Application Server:Use Workbench to transfer files to a Linux server

You can use Workbench to manage files on a Linux Simple Application Server, including uploading and downloading files. This topic describes how to transfer files between a local host and a Linux server using Workbench.

Scenarios

  • Upload files from your local host to a Linux server.

  • Download files from a server to your local host.

Limits

  • Only Linux servers are supported.

  • The maximum size of the file is 500 MB.

Upload a file

  1. Log on to a Linux server as the root user using Workbench password logon.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the top menu bar, choose File > New Navigator.

  3. In the navigator, right-click the location where you want to upload the file. Click Upload File.

  4. Select the file.

    When the following message appears, the file has been successfully uploaded.上传完成

    Note

    If an upload fails, retry the upload or delete the file. If multiple files fail to upload, click Re-upload all failed items to upload again.

    In the file list, you can modify, delete, download, or rename files.

Download a file

  1. Log on to a Linux server as the root user using Workbench password logon.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the top menu bar, choose File > New Navigator.

  3. In the navigator, right-click the file that you want to download and click Download File.

    When the following message appears, the file has been successfully downloaded.下载完成

    If a download fails, retry the download or delete the file. If multiple files fail to download, click Re-download all failed items to download them again.
